A unique celebration of children's theatre is set to delight young audiences with the Theatre Festival for Early Years, a specially curated weekend designed for toddlers aged 1.5 to 3 years and their families. The festival offers an immersive introduction to the performing arts through three thoughtfully created sensorial, non-verbal theatre productions that encourage imagination, curiosity, and shared family experiences.

Unlike conventional stage performances, these productions place children close to the performance area, allowing them to discover stories through movement, sound, materials, textures, and visual storytelling. The performances are designed to let children engage naturally with theatre at their own pace, making the experience comfortable and enjoyable for both little ones and accompanying adults.

The festival features three captivating productions-BENDS & FLOWS, DINNER IS AT 8, and STORIES IN HALF. BENDS & FLOWS will be staged on 8th August at 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, followed by DINNER IS AT 8 at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM on the same day. On 9th August, audiences can enjoy STORIES IN HALF at 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

Each performance has a concise duration of 28 minutes, making it perfectly suited to the attention span of very young children. Organisers have also ensured a relaxed environment by keeping the theatre doors open throughout the performances, allowing families to step outside and return whenever required if a child feels uncomfortable.

Dedicated volunteers will be available throughout the festival to guide visitors and assist families, creating a welcoming atmosphere for first-time theatre-goers.

The Theatre Festival for Early Years highlights the growing importance of early childhood engagement with the arts and offers Indian theatre lovers, theatre groups, performers, and production companies an inspiring example of how live theatre can nurture creativity from the very beginning of life.
