The play looks at an aspect of police life which only people in the forces or their families know, the life of a cop, from a point of view that we as citizens never bother to think about. Performed in a mixed monologue style, the play is an attempt to look at the life of a cop from his own perspective. For most people, the police is a corrupt, scary organization. But under the uniform, the cops are also people, one amongst us, so what is it that makes them behave so anarchist the moment they get into uniform? This is an attempt to understand the psyche of a policeman and the pressures faced by him on a day to day basis. The play also attempts to delve into the lives of the cop's family. How does it feel to hear from everyone that your father or husband is corrupt? As the police are the easiest scapegoats for anything that happens in society, the people and politicians put the blame on the police to keep their hands clean. How does somebody live with all that pressure?
