Daisy Shah who has been seen sharing screen space with Salman Khan and Karan Singh Grover is making her theatre debut. She trained for one and half months in Kathak to portray the character of Begum Jaan. She says, "The experience with theatre is very different from films, it makes you feel more connected and has an instant reaction for your work. Theatre keeps the actor in one alive, that's what I have felt after being a part of it."

Daisy also elaborates on why she chose this play and character to debut on stage, "The reason to choose this play is because the character is very complex and is challenging; she (Begum Jaan) has various layers and shades to her personality."

Cast: Daisy Shah, Gufi Paintal, Akhil Rajendra, Jitendra Srimali, Pankaj Mishra
