"What ails the Arts in India?"... The Jamshed Bhabha Memorial Lecture...

NCPA honours the memory of its founder Dr. Jamshed J Bhabha with a memorial lecture series to be held on his birthday, 21stAugust. Every year an eminent speaker from diverse disciplines will be invited to speak on art and culture and allied fields.

The title of this series is The Jamshed Bhabha Memorial Lecture.

The first lecture "What ails the Arts in India?" is scheduled at 7.00 pm on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at the Jamshed Bhabha Theatre, NCPA.

The speaker is Mr. Jawhar Sircar, a public intellectual, writer and speaker who has served as India’s longest-tenured Culture Secretary and was also CEO of Prasar Bharati (Akashvani & Doordarshan).

The lecture will be preceded by High Tea from 6.00 pm to 6.45 pm.
