Temporary In-Charge Director Appointed At The Academy Of Theatre Arts, Mumbai University...

We are following up on our earlier news here, and here, regarding the protests undertaken by the students at the Academy of Theatre Arts at Mumbai University.

While the Inquiry Committee for the Academy's Director Yogesh Soman is yet to be set up, the University has appointed Dr. Ganesh Chandanshive as the temporary, In-Charge Director. Dr. Chandanshive teaches at the Folk Arts Department of Mumbai University.

The time table for the new year is on schedule therefore and classes will be held. Moreover, visiting faculty as promised to the students, will also be conducting the classes.
