Every year on March 27, World Theatre Day is celebrated worldwide to raise awareness of the importance of entertainment and the changes to bring in society. The theatre also educates and inspires individuals. Many plays are performed on various topics like social issues, entertainment, comedy, and thrillers, among others. We spoke to many theatre artists about what Theatre means to them. Check out what the fraternity has to say.

Vipul Vithlani: Theatre is very necessary for everyone, be it artists or audiences. People forget their day to day stress and enter the auditorium to witness the entertainment, be it plays, singing, or dancing, and they enjoy watching it...

Manasi Joshi: For me, theatre is an experience in the change of lie because whatever we perform, it goes live, and the audience gets connected when they enter. For me, theatre is powerful for our industry.

Shraddha Sutar: I have come through theatre, and it’s my life. I would just inform the audience to witness the theatre and will be alive forever.

Pranati Prakash Rai: You give your heart and soul to the theatre, and I have huge respect for all the theatre artists because I feel that art has a direct connection with the soul...

Titiksha Pandya: For me, theatre is a temple for all the artists. I hope that our new generation gets connected with theatre...
