"THEATRE AS A CAREER - AN INTRODUCTION" From 1st Sept. to 12th Sept. 2004
The Experimental Theatre Foundation is organizing a 12 days residential theatre workshop "THEATRE AS A CAREER - AN INTRODUCTION" from lst Sept. to 12 th Sept 2004 in Mumbai. The Experimental Theatre Foundation is known to explore the different dimensions of theatre since more than a decade. The prime objective of the workshop is to motivate aspirant theatre actors, writers, and directors to take theatre as a career. Those who want to use theatre in education or theatre as a tool of social change will also be encouraged to participate in the workshop.
Manjul Bhardwaj will conduct the workshop. He has been working in theatre since 19 years. He initiated the philosophy " Theatre of Relevance" in 1992. He is conducting workshops on his philosophy " Theatre of Relevance" in INDIA, GERMANY, AUSTRIA & other parts of EUROPE.
The method of conducting the workshop will be self-exploratory i. e. exploring the self through THEATRE and Theatre through SELF. The participants will act as resource and create a theatre of their own in a theatre laboratory which facilitates learning through experience, reflections, experiments, hypothesizing and conceptualizing.
